Referring to
this 'art project' but looks like he lost interest in it a while ago. Oh well. You never know, though... ? Anyhow. Yes, I took a blogging hiatus while back in Victoria for Christmas. I actually didn't bring my camera's battery charger back with me, accidentally, of course, but it was surprisingly refreshing to be without my oh so demanding digital apparatus (appendage, even) for three whole weeks. Once I pull it out of my bag I can be agonisingly obsessive about it, so I often just don't touch it when I'm out, or leave it behind for the day/night... that was the longest separation since I've had it, though, I think. But I'm ok.
THE POINT is I'm obviously never going to catch up with things in any kind of linear event-related fashion, so here's a somewhat random selection of pictures from the last two or three weeks before Christmas. I think they are either totally gratuitously aesthetic and/or fairly self explanatory, but, um ask me about anything you want to know about? The good news is my wonderful and extremely lovely
little sister came to visit me during that time and
her Christmas in NY posts are far more coherent!
